A quiet place to recover
Thailand
Have you actually used the healthcare system yourselves?
Yes. Our daughter was born here. I’ve had major abdominal surgery at Bangkok Hospital. My wife has had cosmetic surgery here twice — facial and body. I get a full checkup here every year. This isn’t a service we built from the outside — it’s our own family’s healthcare.
Is this “medical tourism”?
Some people call it that. We don’t — nobody travels for a heart procedure or cancer treatment for pleasure. But if medical tourism in Thailand is the phrase you searched for: yes, this is that, done properly — the right hospital, a clear price, and someone who lives here looking after you.
Is the care really up to U.S. standards?
The hospitals we work with hold JCI accreditation — the international arm of the U.S. Joint Commission, the same body that accredits American hospitals. For smaller local clinics we recommend, the standard is simpler: we’ve been treated there ourselves, and we’d send our own family back.
Is anything too small, or too big?
No. A single dental visit and a major surgery get the same attention. If it matters to you, it matters to us.
How much does medical care in Thailand cost compared to the U.S.?
Typically a fraction. Major procedures that run into six figures in the U.S. are often available at internationally accredited Thai hospitals for a small share of that — and routine care like dental work costs a fraction again at vetted local clinics. Tell us what you need and we’ll give you real numbers for your case, not a brochure range.
Is it safe to get medical treatment in Thailand?
Thailand has some of the best-regarded hospitals in Asia, and the ones we work with hold JCI accreditation — the same body that accredits leading U.S. hospitals. Our own family has had a birth, major surgery, and cosmetic surgery here. We wouldn’t send you anywhere we haven’t trusted with our own care.
Do doctors and hospitals in Thailand speak English?
At the international hospitals, yes — many doctors trained in the U.S., UK, or Australia, and there are English-speaking international patient desks. At smaller local clinics, English can be limited, which is exactly where our translation and companion service comes in.
How does pricing work?
Tell us what you need, your budget, and your timeline. We come back with a custom quote — all-inclusive or à la carte, adjusted until it fits.
Honest pricing, agreed before you book — so do you mark up hotels or local travel?
Coordinating your care, your stay, and everything in between takes real time and real work — so yes, there’s a small margin built into vendor bookings to make that possible. Even so, you’ll pay far, far less than the same trip would cost at home, with someone genuinely looking out for you the whole way.
Do I have to pay before I arrive?
No. For larger procedures you pay the hospital directly, after you’ve sat down with your doctor, reviewed your tests, and agreed a plan. For smaller procedures and local clinics we quote one all-in price and settle with the clinic ourselves. Our own services are paid on arrival — the only exception is a small deposit if you’d like us to arrange airport pickup, credited to your trip when you land.
Are the doctors qualified?
Yes. We share your specialist’s credentials and background before you commit. At the international hospitals, many lead surgeons completed fellowships and advanced training at top U.S., UK, or European university medical centers.
Can I really see a doctor that fast?
Yes. Private hospitals here don’t have the months-long waiting lists common back home. You can book a specialist for a specific date within days — and for routine consultations, often walk in and walk out the same afternoon.
What about meals and daily needs after my procedure?
You don’t have to wander a foreign city feeling weak. We can check in on you daily, assist with meals, pick up prescriptions, and arrange rides to your follow-up visits — as much or as little as you want.
What if something doesn’t happen as planned?
Any specific activity or service that doesn’t occur is fully refunded. Anything already delivered stands as booked.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, Wise, bank transfer, PayPal, and more — in USD or THB, whichever works for you.
How do my medical records get to the hospital or clinic?
Whatever’s easiest — we can handle the transfer, you can bring them yourself, or you can deal directly with the clinic or hospital. Your choice.
Do you only work with big, accredited hospitals?
No — we also work with smaller, personally vetted local clinics and hospitals that offer comparably excellent care, at a fraction of the cost. We’ll tell you honestly which fits your situation.
How quickly can you help if something’s urgent?
Message or call us by phone, LINE, WhatsApp, or email and we get right back to you — urgent requests jump the queue.
